Architect Jackie Gusic (inHabitat, LLC) created a wonderful open floor plan for this traditional Mt. Airy twin that required the removal off all interior walls on the first floor and the installation of structural beams. Upon entering through the newly constructed mudroom/vestibule (with a custom built seat bench with a cherry top) one is instantly surprised by the nontraditional openness of the entire first floor. The gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, stone tops, stainless steel appliances and glass tile blends seamlessly with the newly configured living room, dining room and family room. For good measure, the master bedroom was remodeled to include a walk-in closet and custom cabinetry.
